1.Three new provisions

When the guardian is 'lost', the civil affairs departments shall be responsible as bottom; Setting up special procedures for the use of emergency public maintenance funds; improving the national ordering contract system.

2.Setting up a cooling-off period for divorce

In recent years, the divorce rate in China is relatively high. People get married and get divorced too impulsively. Therefore, there should be a provision of cooling-off period for divorce, a chance for both parties to calm down and reconsider whether or not the divorce is really what they want.

3.Compensation liability for sexual harassment

Sexual harassment is regulated in the Chapter of the right to personality. The provisions of the Civil Code emphasize two points, one is the use of subordination, the other is against the will of the party being harassed.

4.Virtual property can be inherited

The Civil Code provides for the protection of personal information, virtual property and data on the Internet. In the Chapter of tort liability,  it also makes provisions for online tort liability.

5.Acting bravely for a just cause is exempted from liability.

6.The income from the common premises in the residential area belongs to the owners of the real estate

Provisions: The income from the use of the common part of the real estate by construction units, property service enterprises or other managers, belongs to the owners of the real estate after deducting reasonable costs.

7.Forbidding loan sharks

Provisions: It is prohibited to lend money at high interest rates, and the interest rate of borrowing may not violate the relevant state regulations.

8. Protecting personal information

Provisions: Handling of personal information of natural persons shall follow the principles of legality, legitimacy and necessity and shall not be over-handled.

9.New forms of will

Provisions: A typed will shall be witnessed by more than two witnesses. The testator and the witness shall sign each page of the will, indicating the year, month and date.

10.Guarding the safety overhead

Provisions: Throwing objects from buildings is prohibited.
