Since January of 2020, Guangdong Fengyue Law Firm has increased investment in foreign talents recruitment and funds to develop its international business and website. With foreign well-known law firms and Shantou government agencies in-depth cooperation, open and achieve a wider range of international publicity, improve the Institute's popularity abroad. Specific developments are as follows:
1. In January 2020, a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement was signed between Guangdong Fengyue Law Firm and Sunfield Chambers Solicitors & Associates of Australia;
2. On 20th of January and July, Principal Fengkai Xie of Guangdong Fengyue Law Firm has obtained with 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 Australian Registration Certificate as an Australian Registered Foreign Lawyer in New South Wales (LSID:97738) by Law Society of New South Wales;
3. In May 2020, Shantou Investment Promotion Bureau and the Australia Sunfield Chambers Solicitors & Associates signed a "Designated Investment Units" cooperation agreement which authorised the Sunfield Chambers Solicitors & Associates as the designated investment units in Australia. And Shantou City Investment Promotion Bureau also authorised the Principal of the Institute's lawyer Gang Sun as the "Merchants Commissioner";
4. Shantou Investment Promotion Bureau authorised the Principal of the Institute's lawyer Fengkai Xie as the "Merchants Commissioner";
