On the afternoon of February 24, 2019, entrusted by the chairman of Shantou Lawyers Association, Shantou Law Association's Criminal Law Professional Committee held a meeting in Guangdong Youjingtu Law Firm to review the implementation measures of Shantou Municipal Law Commission's work on lenient system of guilty plea and punishment (for trial implementation). The meeting was chaired by Professor Li Guanghui, a lawyer of Guangdong Fengyuang Law Firm and director of the Criminal Law Committee of Shantou Law Association. The special committee attending the meeting and eight non-special counsel comrades who are good at criminal business conducted a very serious discussion on the implementation of the measures (trial), and put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions. This meeting is the first working meeting of the Municipal Legal Association Criminal Committees in 2019.

    After the meeting, Mr. Wang Jianhui, Vice President of Shantou Law Association, and the lawyers attending the meeting had a working dinner at the Jiaozi Hall on Jinsha Road.
